Car not getting spark in mornings.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Car is 2003 grand am gt 3400. When it
starts it runs fine. The problem is most
mornings it doesn't start and thats due to it
not getting a spark. Later in the day it
always starts fine. If I leave the car on for
like 5-10 minutes after it not starting it will
get a spark and start up. I have to leave the
key on for it to work though. I know there is
a security issue with these cars but I don't
think that's it because it goes off right after I
turn the keys on and its not flashing and
sometimes i only have to leave the key on
for a couple minutes. Plugs, wires and coils
are good. Both crank sensors are good. I
have taken the ICM out and had it tested at
autopart stores twice. I'm lost now.

How do you know the coils & wires are good?
It's not getting a spark to the coils and had them tested at the beginning of my problems. Wires are a month old too.
I have a feeling Its in your steering column, you have a loose wire, a wire touching, you will not get spark to the coil, wires or plugs if that circuit is not completed. check to see if your have power on the Yellow wire in the switch, you may want to also check to see if you have power on the blue wire as well..
Changed plugs a month ago. If I do try or don't try to start it in the morning it always starts in the afternoon. I don't know if it could have something to due with temperature ot not.
Have 2005 grand am do I need to change plugs n wires if the car is running great
