2005 Grand Am SE strut tire rod ?

driving front driver wheel shakes side to
side went to change tire rod end it was fine
but with the tire off u can grab an wiggle it
side to side one person said strut the other
still says tire rod so idk i need it fixed jus
don have the money for both

Did you try to move it top to bottom as well as side to seide? If your tie rods are good and if it moves top to bottom to you would be looking at a wheel bearing, I would be doubting a strutt would let it move that way
