Will not know what problem is until you do a brake check may just need a normal brake pad replacement but you are going to need a rotor depending on how long it's been grinding or maybe seized up caliper slide pins or caliper piston or collapsed brake hose just a lot of guessing until you take a look at it.

As firebird suggests is good to look at. My rule of thumb is one pad replacement, then next time pad and caliper replacement, jus because the calipers piston starts sticking. Looking at year I think this isn't first time for front brakes, correct? Just replace calipers, pads, and rotors on BOTH sides and avoid the hassle!
