I have a pontiac grand am 2005 and had the ignition replaced. It started for a while then it quit starting. It wont even turn over. The battery and alternator are good. What can it be.

I had the ignition replaced and the sensor monitor checked out fine.  The battery and alternator are good.  The car wont even turn over when I try to start it.. Got a jump and it didn't work.

I just was not pushing the key in far enough. It starts every time now.If the door dings then the key is in far enough.
