Why won't it just be nice

I have an 05 grand am 3.4L, I just replaced the head
gaskets on it and now the car won't start, will turn
over and it won't actually start, got a back fire from
it on the third try, battery keeps dying, any
suggestions, if so please email me at

Spay some starter fluid in the intake and see if she will start if it does then you may not have enough fuel pressure...then it could be the fuel pump..

you replaced the head gaskets personally or did you pay someone to do it ? They're responsible if thats the case . It should've been good to go .

I did it myself, ran when before I changed the head gasket but won't start now

check for proper spark , fuel pressure , timing ,compression , sometimes , not often , it's just coincidence that something else decides to quit when doing a different repair .
