my 97 grandprix speedometer is not working!

speedo meter not working and I would like to know
is this and ez fix?

Your car is new enough that it probably has an electronic type, not a cable type. It is probably a speed sensor or circuit board on the gauge itself (or its contacts to a cable from the speed sensor. You will probably need to pull the gauge to diagnose.
