what do I try next

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My car was miss firing badly. I replaced the coils plugs wires and ignition control module. I also replaced the fuel filter. The car runs great with no miss firing but now it doesn't want to start. It will turn over like its going to start but it won't. If I turn the key just enough to engage the fuel pump 3 to 5 times then car will start. What is wrong.

Perhaps you should check the fuel pressure. The fuel pump may on the way out.
the last time i had that symptom, my relay went out. 3 cranks overrides the relay.
The fuel pump is not bad because I have tons when I turn it over. Which relay are you talking about.
