Question type: Maintenance & Repair

previous owners broke off a drill bit
in one of the holes for power
steering.  Hole on the block.  We got
in out by making a bigger hole in the
block.  We welded the hole back but
here the problem we can't find a drill
bit strong enough to make the hole
back.... Plz help

Probably too late now, but a repair part called a helicoil could have been inserted into the bored out hole and formed the new thread you need. There should be a drill bit strong enough to drill through a weld. Ask for one at a hardware store or look at on-line suppliers.
