2000 Grand Prix p0102 vacuum leaks
My grand prix has code p0102 and I think
its because I have a vacuum leak. Only
problem is I dont know where the hoses are
or how many there are. Can somebody
answer this?
P0102 Pontiac is less likely a vacuum leak than a MAF problem. Mass Air Flow sensor. Measures amount of air entering intake. Faulty, dirty unplugged, or bad connection.( Circuit Low Input) http://www.obd-codes.com/p0102 and http://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0102 agree, code is thrown when excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECU. Would have to be a massive vacuum leak, your idle would be very high, so bad a leak more air is entering intake than passing through MAF
Try unplugging MAF with engine running..careful..no sleeves on.. see if it runs same. And a very very dirty air filter will also cause this
I cleaned my maf already and it looked fine but ill try the unplugging it while engine is running.
