Will a non supercharged tranny out of an 01
Pontiac grand prix work in my 01 Pontiac gtp
supercharged

Ok then what does it mean when my car barely moves in 1st through 3rd gear and not at all in drive but works perfect in reverse

It likely means your transmission is toast, but there's an outside chance that its something electrical. Any good transmission shop can evaluate it for you. Don't spend a ton of money on it, its an old car and GTPs are not that rare or that expensive. The best fix of all might be a different car. I wrecked mine recently and had no problem finding a couple of very nice low milers to replace it. Unfortunately my wife won out and I'm now the proud owner of an Avalanche. Very cool, but not very fast. :(
