It goes a little bit past it but not much. When it stops reading completely the car had to be around half tank and sitting on hill with the front of the car facing up the hill. It starting doing this when I ran the car really low on gas. It only had 2 gallons left when it started acting up

It's all original and its 193,000 miles on it. It's been messed up like this for about 10k and its starting to get really inconvenient. I never know how much gas I have so I fill it up every 150 to 200 miles.
