Asked by Rogue_1024 Jan 27, 2017 at 12:32 PM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The gears are all off. The 1st and 2nd manual gears wont do anything, the
3rd, drive, and NEUTRAL gears provide slow acceleration, Reverse acts like a
second park, and the RPM's wont go over 3100.

Have a transmission shop look at it an evaluate it. Sounds like its time for a new car. An '02 GP is not worth spending much money on.
