Vibration while going around turns & during acceleration, steering is very stiff

Asked by AndreaHope1125 Jan 17, 2019 at 07:50 PM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2002 Grand Prix 3.8 is vibrating/shaking very
bad while accelerating & when going around
curves. It's very hard to turn left and steering while
tries to jerk back to the right. Also, the abs & Trac
off light comes on after probably a mile or two of
driving. I just had the brake pads & wheel hubs
replaced about 6-8 months ago. Please if anyone
could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a front axle shaft that's getting ready to come apart. I'd start there.
