Disconnect your harness from your tail light and check it with a multimeter

Start with the basics. Check the light bulbs, double check the fuses, but I have ran into several GMs with Multi-function switch that are bad. Everything dealing with the lights run through it. Double check your hazards and see if they will work by them self . If they do, replace your multifunction switch.
