Lost keys

What is going to be our cheapest route
to replace the keys, buy a used ignition,
or replace the key through a locksmith,
we have limited cash? Can it be how
wired? We are desperate. We have a
2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Ok now let me ask you the same question, what sounds cheaper.. a used ignition(junkyard i assume) or a locksmith whos gonna do what they do best and way over charge you for some bullshit "programming" that you can do yourself

The locksmith is likely your cheapest option. A different ignition switch may need programming by the dealer and if everything's on one key you have to replace the door lock and trunk lock as well. That’s going to get expensive as well as taking a lot longer.
