Pontiac Grand Prix SE 2002 3.1 High Pitch Squeak when accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hello, my Pontiac Grand Prix SE 2002 3.1 squeaks (high pitch) really bad when
I accelerate above 2000 RPM, if you leave the gas pressed, it keeps doing it
and it doesn't go away, it only goes away when I don't step on the gas pedal.
The noise comes from the driver side, apparently from the throttle body
section.
The water pump, belt tensioner and belt got recently replaced.
Does anybody know what is going on?
Thank you

i would check all the other pulley bearings. idler pulley is a usual suspect.
Belt tensioner (idler pulley) is the #1 suspect. It may not be exerting the right force on the belt to hold it against the pulleys when the RPM's increase under load. Try, with the help of a friend, to get your ear down to the belt area while your friend increases the engine RPM's and see if you can determine where the sound comes from.

The sound comes from the throttle body area, around the air filter and that hose connected to the throttle body.

i suppose it is possible there is a hole in the intake somewhere, or a open hose or vac line. you should have a check engine light if that is the case. scan for codes.

Here is exactly where the sound is coming from
Did you find out the problem cause I'm having the exact same problem
