MY 2004 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX GT KEEPS SHUTTING DOWN ON ME
WHILE DRIVING.IF I PUT IT IN PARK AND START IT BACK UP IT
USUALLY STARTS.TOOK TO MY MECHANIC HE RAN A SCAN AND
NOTHING SHOWED.SO HE PUT IN A NEW BATTERY NEW CABLES NEW
CONNECTORS AND CHECKED THE FULE TANK WITH PRESSURE AND
HE THOUGHT IT WAS FIXED.BUT I DROVE IT HOME AND IT DID THIS
AGAIN....DOES ANYONE ELSE KNOW WHAT THIS COULD BE ?

Your mechanic will need to plug into it with a scan tool that can capture live data then drive around until it quits. He can then review the data and see where the failure is. Hope that helps! Jim

Is it only when the car is warmed up after 15 or 20 mins? You can get it in park and neutral but not drive and park and it stalls? I'd look into the transaxle convertor lock solenoid as the issue.
