A lot of smaller independent shops, and even some of the bigger ones, will run a fixed-rate price on CV Axles that includes parts and labor. Typically I would expect to see right about 1 hour of labor plus the part cost and tax, which makes a fixed-rate price (for example. $179.99) usually a bit cheaper when you factor in parts markup.
