04 grand prix has fuel pump sound and is turning over no starting what's up with this

The car is turning over just not starting have the
exhaust system repaired  just in case of
compression issues and still nothing anyone any
idea

you have lost either spark or fuel. if your fuel pump is running, it may still not be providing enough pressure. have the pressure tested and check for spark. when was the last tune up? I had a chevy s10 with both spark and fuel. the spark was to weak. I replaced cap and rotor and boom she started right up.
