If the bulb breaks when it burns out then you have water inside the head-light assembly. Those bulbs get very hot and if a few drops of water even touch the glass ... it breaks. Happens most often when you hit a bump. Look at the lens and you may see tiny water droplets. ~~ Do you mean The blower for the heater inside the car or the fan that is next to the radiator?
Also it is important not to handle the glass part of the bulb when putting it in. Oil from your hands remains on the glass and causes it to overheat in that spot when the bulb is lit causing premature failure. The heater fan failure is likely the resistor located in the heater duct against the firewall on the passenger side inside your car. I don't think there's likely anything major wrong with your car. It's simply 10 years old and things start to wear out. From here on in you'll be doing more maintenance than you have in the past, but in all likelihood that's still way cheaper than buying a new car, so it you still enjoy driving it and its in good shape just keep on driving it.
