Hot coolant

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Here's the problem.
-hot coolant light on
-after I stop the car at a stop light had issue to
accelerate forward.


What do I need to do guys?

Maybe your radiator fans are not coming on. When you stop you lose all the air flow through the radiator and the car over heats.

Thanks for the answer. Had a feeling it's deals with air flow. Because while I was driving the temperature gauge dropped when I was going about 40. And went up when I stopped.

Check the fuse first and if that is good it might be the temperature sender or the relay.
