Engine power reduced

Asked by GuruHM1LG Aug 09, 2019 at 01:25 PM about the 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP

I have an 05 Pontiac grand prix gtp 3.8l engine not super
charged. light came on engine power reduced  and there
was no check engine light on. I turn the car on but the car
just turnt off. I couldnt even put in drive. I changed the
throttle body  and the acceleration peddle and still the
same issue. Please help.

Things need to be tested before they are replaced , you may as well buy new if you're going to replace parts till you find the problem ..

Obviously, start by having the trouble codes checked and start your troubleshooting with this knowledge.
