Good buy or not?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing
I'm thinking of purchasing a 2005 Grand Prix GT
with 189000 miles on it would tjis be a good buy or
not? I really like the Pontiacs but I'm concern with
the mileage?

I would be VERY CAUTIOUS about this car. It has almost 18,0000 miles per year. Depends on price and how long you intend to keep it. If it were an Asian car, it might be different, but, I'd still be wary.

Thanks, they are asking 3,000 for it and it is in great condition. According to the pictures, there's only a small dent on the passenger side door. We're thinking of having it for at least 2-3 years more. So I'm not to sure what to do since everything seems to be higher then our budget... but this one fits right in.

Hey bud, this is a $500 car as is. Unless you can afford a new engine, lot's of back and forth to the dealer, stay away.
jimenezeg72- look at it this way, it costs about $1000 each year to maintain a car and if you get even two years of service you'll be money ahead.
