Stay with your supercharger because it is completely compatible with the engine you now have. The only difference is that a supercharger is belt driven off the engine, and a turbo charger is powered buy the exhaust gases going through a turbine. You have 265 HP now and a turbo won't do any better, you would just empty your wallet trying to make it run right with the current engine.

Okay thank you for that. Although is there anything I could do to make it sound better?

Thanks for the points. For better exhaust sound, I would consult a shop that knows their after market exhaust systems and how to install them. I would also have the original system removed carefully (no cutting torches) in case you want to go back to stock some day. Your Pontiac is one of the cars that put excitement back into driving.....that was the Pontiac motto. It has a rock solid engine and can do 0-60 in 6 seconds, and that's still considered pretty fast.
