You'll need to remove the inner door panel which can be a bit of a project in itself. Once you can see and reach up into the door, determine if the handle itself has broken of if the clips that hold the linkage to the handle have worn out and the linkage has just fallen off, or if the handle itself has broken. New clips for the linkage are readily available at most auto part stores. Replace the clip and reattach the linkage. If the handle itself is cracked or broken get a new or good used one. Examine it to figure out how it is attached to the car door, usually a couple of nuts, but could be screws. Once you've got that sorted out find the corresponding nuts or screws in the door, remove them and the handle will easily pull off the car to the outside. Reverse procedure to put it back together again and you're good for another 50,000 miles give or take. Some good lighting for looking up into the door and lots of patience and a few basic tools are all that's required. Our friends at U tube can probably help with some vids. Good luck.
