2006 grand prix starting disabled due to electronic throttle body control - is it the computer?

yes and no, the throttle is controlled by the computer. control is shut down for some reason. try the locks the security lockout thinks your stealing the car! if no luck, unhook the battery ground cable for 15 minutes or more to cause a hard reset on the brain! Now you see why GM let a lady run the show recently
What about the ignition switch or crank position sensor? This is a very dangerous car these days because it will die while driving at high speeds. They replaced the throttle body today, but that wasn't the problem.
My 2008 is having the same problem. Replaced the throttle body nothing happened the check engine light is on and off constantly saying about the alarm system when u check it with the thing. Trying to find out what can fix it all

My 2006 will also go dead while I am driving it. The computer screen will say Disabled due to electronic throttle. I have taken it to a mechanic and had it cleaned. But it did not help. I have set on the side of the road for 5 to 10 minutes waiting for it to crank back up. Not sure what to do, anyone else having this problem and hopefully figure out what is causing this.
