04 grand prix

I have a 06 grand prix the motor is bad. I
have a 04 grand prix GT can I put the 04 GT
motor in the 06

Are they the same motor? If so maybe. Different years, different electronics sometimes. And huge amounts of labor. Engine swaps on older cars are never cost effective. Only do it if you have nothing better to do. If you are trying to save money, save it by getting rid of those two cars and buying one that already runs.
