Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 grandprix gt with a supercharged 3.8 liter
engine with roughly 164,000 miles on it and the other day
the check engine light went off so I get my code reader and
its PO 716 a turbin speed sensor.. Does anyone know if this
is located inside the transmission amd how difficult it
would be to fix? Any tips tricks or advice would be greatly
appreciated!!

I’m not sure where it is either, but if it’s external make sure all electrical connections leading up to it are clean and tight. That might be all that’s triggering the code.
