Ok so I have a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix I have had it about a year and about a month ago the reduced engine power light came on. I have change the mass air flow sensor and also the throttle body and spark plugs I can not seem to figure it out. I can start the car and it will idle for about 5 -10 seconds and then it will die you can accelerate or anything please help
O.K. this is no joke, the car is on what is called Limp Mode. The OBD sent a message to the PCM to put the system into limp mode. The condition must be fixed before the car can be taken out of this mode because the PCM will not allow it in order to prevent more damage to other components of the vehicle's drivetrain. Do not drive the car in this condition, scan the codes in the OBD they will tell you what the problem is.
How do I fix the problem after I changed the power steering pump
