I got the same car pontiac grand prix 2006 model.... I have some issues with this cars nowadays.... its regular light which is automatic, goes off after 3 or 4 minutes while driving on the road.. the  bottom light works and high beem works too... another problem which she has started to give me is that its temperature goes high almost to red line... two weeks ago I flushed its radiator as well as put new coolant fluid into it even though its temperature started to go up again... is there anything you know about it???

As far as the temp goes -- are you sure you blead all the air out of the system after flushing it? An air pocket in cooling system will cause the temp to rise.

@dandyoun, well i took my car to Honda services. I bought from that place. before taking my car to them, my temp rose up, and I open hood, and opened the radiator cap. some of its fluid come out.... I filled up with some water. so it became normal and didn't rise again for a week or two... So I thought may its radiator need flushing. Consequently, I took my car to Honda to flush it and put new coolant fluid in it. so they did it and they said car seems fine now. but thanks for your reply sir.
