After you've checked all your local auto wreckers, check Craiglist, Kijiiji, and you're local online classifieds. Check in about a 500 mile radius from where you live. It's not that expensive to have an engine shipped or to go and pick it up. Be careful about buying an engine sight unseen though. You're pretty safe from an auto wrecker, but privately is a bit more risky. Having said that I've bought privately a time or two and all went well.
