'93 3800 Transport is taking longer and longer to "catch" when starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Battery seems to easily turn over engine but it is taking longer each time to "catch/start",
- what needs to be replaced ? ( 193K miles ) Up to a couple weeks ago it always started
within a second. I tried to just turn it on to "pump it up" a few seconds before engaging
starter but that didn't help the issue any.

Does it do this only on first start of the day or every time you try to start it?
Every time , but the longer it sits - the longer it takes to start
TourNut : Also it runs rough at first but after less than a mile it runs fine on the highway
Thanks , I've ordered one from NAPA ( Echlin : 3 yr warranty) I'll get a filter , too
That was it ; replaced Fuel pressure regulator , also fuel filter which was rusted so bad the hose nipple broke off pulling it out of the "quick connect"
