what shortcomings are associated with the 1990 corvette

I have a '92. Distributor, ride control, lumbar, bose system, headlight motors, loose door panels, electronic dash. Good news is once each is properly repaired ($), it tends to stay that way. Congratulations, even the worst corvette is better than an ordinary vehicle.

Lets face it, the word corvette, almost means problems , any year. I have had 26, most new, but the older ones, I could almost count on some kind of problem, no matter what year, except for the C-5's, C-6's, and C-7's.

I bought one 2 years ago. My horn does not work (need clock spring)' INFL REST and passenger seat belt light is displayed. AC no longer puts out cold air. Compressor OK, so I plan on converting system this year. Power antenna gave up. I replaced Bose factory system with after market Alpine. I put 18" wheels all around. Easy to rotate. Wheels are chrome C6 style. CONVERTIBLE top solenoid need to be replaced. Engine has oil leak near top seal. I can live with that right now. Replaced brake booster.other than all those I still love it.
