Well I can drive it about 3 miles before it
acts up.I thought it might be fuel injectors
but that would not wait 3 miles before it
starts like starving for fuel

I believe the year Corvette you have has the air pick up routed by the lower air dam. I have know people having driven through puddles on the road that were deep enough to get water into the air intake. One was enough to destroy the engine. Check the oil and see if there is water in the oil. You may have to have the fuel system flushed out. That is a possibility that should be checked.
