Sounds like something has melted at a connector or some wires together or a relay has gone wacko but I would recommend asking on a forum for electrical troubleshooting help or buying an electrical manual for your 01 and tracing through and figuring out one component that has all those issues involved on the same circuit. brights are a separate circuit just as the 3rd brake lamp is separate. I'm guessing it is not an issue in your combo switch on the steering column since highs work and you're getting power to the back on the 3rd light. Your driving lights are similar or the same as your regular lights (generally a little bit dimmed from being "on"). Has anything been spilt inside the car, namely just behind the front passenger seat? All of the wiring goes to the bottom of that B pillar. Leaks? I would think it would only be one of the above, not several. I also don't think those bulbs you keep replacing up front have any issues. Don't have a manual in front of me right now to help you. Come back and post up what you find.
