just bought a brand new battery yesterday and something drained it all ready
got any ideas?

For me, it was the radio drawing way more current with the car off than it should. For now, we've pulled the radio fuse. I'm considering ways to eliminate any power to the radio when the car is off, realizing that will probably result in loss of the station memory, but that would at least save the cost of replacing the entire radio.
