I do lots of highway driving and need all season tires that can occasionally handle ice and snow.

Uniroyals are made by Michelin, but are cheaper, so you might want to their better model.

Thanks, I'll check them out. Also heard that TOYO and CONTINENTAL tires are worth investigating. Anyone tried either of theses brands?
I haven't had very good luck with continentals- wear out by 25-30k.

Thanks for the feedback. How about TOYO tires? Anyone tried that brand?
toyo's are all I run, you want a good all season/highway tire, get some toyo eclise or toyo spectrums.

Thanks for the info. Going to the tire store today and will ask about them.
I prefer the Goodyear assurance tires. Either triple tred or comfor tred. Both have good performance on ice and snow and have good mileage warranties.

Thank you all for your feedback. I finally decided on the TOYO Versado LX II tires for my Subaru. They seemed to have all of the qualities that I was looking for and on top of that there's a rebate promo going on right now.
