04 Subaru Forester Suddenly Dies on Highway

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey! So, I was driving home today and suddenly my Subaru completely lost
power. I started slowing down and couldn't accelerate. My Oil, Check Engine,
and other lights came on. And now, the car won't fully turn over. A few weeks
ago, my splash guard came off. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Maybe the fuel pump quit or you lost spark. The timing belt may have broken. Have the ECU scanned for codes. How many miles on the engine and the timing belt?
