maybe, the ej20 can have the td04 setup.... but you might want to look into that... you might need higher compression block... not sure tho

No, the NA motors are not set up to handle turbocharging. You could upgrade the internals of the motor, but by the time you do that and get it running, you would be better off finding a complete ej205 or ej255/257 and swapping it in (The tubo motors for the 02-05 wrx and 06+ wrx/sti) You also need to LOWER compression in order to run a turbo, be careful how you spread misinformation.

yes you can. is it the best way? probably not. im currently doing this in my 05 rs basically you will need to cahnge the internals get a good standalone em and all the other turbo pieces although you would be safe running about 5 psi on stock block i would not recommend that for very long. check out this thread. http://www.rs25.com/forums/f7/t3541-official-i-want-turbo- my-2-5-thread.html http://www.rs25.com/forums/f7/t106229-jefffs-1-paragraph- how-turbo-your-rs.html

You will end up spending more money to make less power than if you were to just a. do a swap or b. buy a car that comes with it standard. If youre going to pull the stock motor to build it anyways, why wouldnt you just swap in something more reliable and run 16-18psi instead of a N/A-T that is like a grenade with the pin pulled?

yea ryans right, if you were gonna just go 5psi, theres really no need for a turbo..... might as well get a honda and go vtech lol..... i know for a fact the ej255's are runnin between 13-15psi and the ej257's w/ the vf43's are somewhere in the high 20's.... but 5psi... where you gonna boost at?... 5200rpms and finish off at 6?

Stock the sti runs about 14lbs, or 1 bar. But they can be tuned to run around 16-20 lbs reliably with supporting mods
