how do get into reverse in 1992 six speed

I have a 1992 coupe and I can't get the shift lever into reverse.

Your linkage may need adjustment. Take it to a transmission shop that can work on the linkage and have them take a look. The linkage is mechanical, and parts wear out and get out of adjustment. A 13 year old car will start to show signs of wearing out parts. If you don't know what your doing, any attempt to adjust it yourself may have you in two gears at once and that is not good. Spend the money and go to a pro.
