Asked by 1995corvette Nov 12, 2014 at 02:58 PM about the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe RWD

Question type: General

Just got my car and I am having trouble with the button on the shifter.  You have to mess
with for a while before it will depress and let you shift out of park.  Any one else run into
this and what was the solution.

It will be the shifter pin,has bent,or got something sticky in it,you have to remove the console, and shifter to get to it,may just need tweeking and a little oil on it.
