2006 colbalt only works in reverse

my 2006 chevy colbalt will not operate in DRIVE,2ND ,OR 1 ST. GEARS. car
will only drive in REVERSE. dooe anyone know if this sounds like a Major
Transmission problem? or could it be a relay or selinoid or something else?

It’s gonna be the gears in the transmission same with my 95 Chevy Cheyenne and I got the transmission rebuilt and now drives like new

Could be lots of things but the short answer is it sounds like a major transmission repair. Get it to a shop and have it diagnosed. Remember its an old, relatively worthless car so don't get too carried away spending money on it.
