Whenever you have an issue in a vehicle you think may be fuel, its always best to replace the fuel filter... they are wicked cheap, easy to do yourself, and it probably needs to be done anyway. if its not the filter, it could be clogged injectors or a bad pump. remember, when diagnosing a car... air is free. if its not fuel, its spark.

I'd start by troubleshooting the fuel pump. Turn the key to the ON position without starting the car. You should be able to hear it humming for a few seconds and then stop if it is working. If you hear nothing that's likely what it is. Do that first because if you need to change it you will need the filter as well.
