over heating when stooped at light?

my Chevy cobalt keep over heating when stooped at red light, ac stop working
too. we have changed the fan three time and it keeps going bad. any help
would be great.

Unplug the coolant temperature sensor and start the engine. The check engine light will come on, ignore it. Your radiator cooling fans should come on immediately at high speed. If they don't, check the fan relay(s) in the underhood fuse box. If they're good check for a blown fuse. Check for a bad connection at the cooling fan plug as well as a bad ground. Hope that helps!
