2005 chev cobalt sputters when at idle.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
cobalt sputters at idle like it is going to die. Replaced the knock sensor but it still does it ( now more often) this happens when engine temp is warm. Do I have to reset something? The car runs at 194 to 198 degrees.

You might try cleaning the air intake valve. I had the same problem and it worked for me.

the dealer just told me that it was the throttle body causing it so we are going to get one now and ill let you know if that works
