I don't know but you need to have it inspected before you drive it again. Two possibilities are dragging brakes or a catalytic converter running way to hot.
Idk either but also I forgot to mention when it acted up like that my engine light continually flashed and it sounded really rough like. normally it runs Excellent, I don't think it's the brakes but I was also thinking of the catalytic converter but my car has the graphic kit on it and sets real low so I can't see if it's red hot I could only smell like burning matches and I could feel the heat when I put my hand in around the back tire. Also I checked all my fluids and another thing that was weird to me was that the lid to my coolant was not at all hot and with driving it should've been. .something's definetly not right!
Sounds like a misfire or running rich made the cat red hot.
