Replace it I did the job myself in the drive way cost me 865$ total

i know it would be easier to replace than to rebuild...im lil more worried about cost cuz the only thing wrong with my current tranny is fourth gear is out. i can coast down hill in 4th but as soon as i give it gas it pops out. also does anyone know where to pick up a dealership book for cheap? for 95 leggy

my mistake tought your tranny was automatic I guess its standard they re a little cheaper to rebuild could be just a spring an a little bearing that is supposed to keep the shifter fork inplace but you might have to remove the trany for that not sure my transmission is automatic so replacing by a use one was cheaper than rebuilding it

the tranny in my 93 is the same as in your 95, mine was $350 from a parts yard and 3 hours under the car.
