ac compreeser is not kiking on

i got a subaru leagcy outback with a 2.2 swap and my ac is not kiking on?  fuses are
good idk about relays . why is thair 4 a/c relays?

Like Jim said, could be refridgerant has leaked out, it could also be that the clutch setup on the pump that allows it to free wheel when not in use has a short in the circuit or has just gone bad. I can't tell you for sure why there are 4 relays in the a/c system but if one is bad it can definately cause an issue as well.
