96 Subaru Outback Dies then runs help??
My 96 Subaru outback legacy, automatic, 2.8 engine. My car has been driving fine, until recently it will drive for a while then start to die high speeds but mainly lower speeds. thought it was the fuel pump. Replaced that with a filter, cleaned carburetor, EGR valve, new spark, clean battery terminals, new throttle position sensor, and new catalytic converters. ( most things done here where shown on a check engine light) there is no check engine light anymore, but my car will run fine for a couple days then starts to do this. I only put in premium gas and quality oil. any suggestions? I also have had the rear tranny work and a new tranny gasket put on it December from a Subaru mechanic. any suggestions??
