Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I replaced the batteries in my fob and it still won't
work to operate anyting on the car. The button
won't work to open my trunk and I cannot adjust
my side mirrors. what could be causing this?

The body module that receives and directs the signals from your fob has probably failed. Its located in the dash up at the windshield and requires a Dealer programming once its in. If your key locks still work that's your cheapest "fix". The side mirror problem is likely unrelated. Could be the switch in that case.

The door locks work fine, I had to figure out the way to lock my doors without tripping my alarm oh, but now that I figured that out I'll be fine. I was kind of hoping the trunk button and the mirror control over all on some sort of fuse or relay or something together. Thank you
If the mirror/trunk functions are via your key fob those signals all go through the body module and will no longer work either. If they are the manual controls inside your car though that will be a separate problem that you may be able to fix more easily. My car has no key fob functions but all other controls work fine. Unfortunately they are getting to be old cars and some repairs are just not worth doing.
